CloneKit Terms of Use

The rules for using CloneKit: each copy is still the original app under its developer's terms, and using a copy can break those terms.

Binary BuddiesUpdated · 5 min read

Effective 7 November 2026. These terms apply to CloneKit, published by Binary Buddies.

In short

  • CloneKit runs an extra copy of an app you already have. It does not download or change any app.
  • Each copy is still the original app, under that app's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Some services do not allow copies and could limit or close your account. Checking that is up to you.
  • Some apps will not run as a copy.
  • Deleting a copy deletes its data from your device, and we cannot restore it.

This summary is here to help. The full terms below are what apply.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

CloneKit is published by Binary Buddies, an independent software studio run by Hitesh Virani in Junagadh, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for using CloneKit. By installing or using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Google Play's own terms also apply to downloading the app from Google Play and to anything you pay for there.

2. What CloneKit does

CloneKit lets you run an additional, independent copy of an app that is already installed on your device, so that the copy can hold a separate login. It does not download, distribute, install or modify any app. A version may also be offered for direct download from our website, with an additional mode built on Android's work profile; these terms apply to it too.

3. Who can use it

CloneKit is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. If you are under the age at which you can accept a contract where you live, a parent or guardian needs to accept these terms for you.

4. Your right to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use CloneKit on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, as long as you follow these terms. You agree not to:

  • copy, sell, rent or redistribute the app, or publish a changed version of it;
  • take the app apart or try to get at its source code, except where the law lets you;
  • use it to break the law or anyone else's rights;
  • interfere with the app, or with any server or service it connects to.

5. Price, ads and purchases

CloneKit is free to install and shows no ads.

If CloneKit ever offers something to buy, you buy it through Google Play. Google takes the payment, and Google Play's refund rules apply, along with any right to cancel or get a refund that the law gives you.

6. The apps you copy

A copied app is still the original app, made by its own developer. When you sign in to a copy, you are signing in to that company's service.

  • Its own terms apply. Each copied app is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for those apps, for their services, or for what they do with your information.
  • A copy may break those terms. Some services restrict or prohibit running more than one copy of their app, or running it in an unofficial environment. Using a copy could lead the service to limit or close your account. It is your responsibility to check, and we are not responsible for what a service decides.
  • We are not connected with them. CloneKit is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any app you choose to copy. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners.

7. Fair use

Please don't use CloneKit to:

  • get around a ban, restriction or usage limit set by another service;
  • claim a bonus, reward or offer more times than its rules allow;
  • get into an account that isn't yours, or commit fraud.

8. Apps that will not run

Some apps refuse to run as a copy, or will not run correctly, commonly banking, payment and several large social apps, and apps that depend on Google Play Services or device-level security checks. This is a technical limitation, and we cannot promise that any particular app will work.

9. The data in your copies

Each copy keeps its data in private storage on your device. Deleting a copy deletes that data, including its sign-in, and uninstalling CloneKit removes every copy. We never receive this data, so we cannot restore it for you. Deleting a copy does not delete your account with the service: to do that, contact the service.

If your device is rooted, lost or compromised, data belonging to any app on it may be at risk, including data in your copies.

10. Your information

How CloneKit handles information is explained in its privacy policy.

11. Updates and availability

We may update CloneKit, change or remove features, or stop offering it. We cannot promise that it will work on every device or version of Android, or that it will always be available.

12. Who owns what

CloneKit, including its name, logo, artwork and code, belongs to us or to those who license it to us. These terms give you the right to use it, not ownership of it. Parts of the app come from others and keep their own licences. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

13. No guarantee, and the limits of our liability

We work to keep CloneKit reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We cannot promise that it will always work, be free of errors or suit your particular purpose.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Your rights as a consumer

If you use the app as a consumer, you keep every right the law of your country gives you that cannot be signed away. In the European Economic Area and the UK, that includes your legal rights if digital content does not work as described. If anything in these terms conflicts with those rights, those rights win.

15. Ending your use

You can stop at any time by uninstalling CloneKit.

16. Law and disputes

If you have a problem, please email us first at hello@binarybuddies.in. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of Junagadh, Gujarat, India. If you are a consumer living in another country, this does not take away the protection of that country's mandatory laws, or any right you have to bring a claim in your local courts.

17. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the app or the law changes. We will update this page and its update history, and where we can we will make important changes clear in the app or on its store page. If you keep using CloneKit after a change, you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, please stop using it.
